Dear Connor,
Daddy took you to a Sesame Street Live show over the weekend and got suckered into buying you a giant $10 Elmo balloon (Daddy said that when you saw the man carrying them, you started saying excitedly, "Elmo balloon! Elmo balloon!" and then grabbed Daddy's hand and pulled Daddy toward them, so how could he not buy one for you?). You've been having fun playing with the balloon over these past few days and today, you hugged it tightly and said, "I love you." It was the first time you'd ever said "I love you" without being prompted by someone to say it and um, I'm a little hurt that you didn't say it to me first! But I guess, how can anyone compete with Elmo? :P
