Dear Connor,
I thought you started summer camp tomorrow. I was wrong. I discovered I was wrong when your bus counselor called me at 7:40 this morning and asked, "Hi, is Connor starting camp today? The bus is waiting outside your house." I was still in bed in my pajamas. You were still in bed in your pajamas. CRAP!!!!!!!!
I sputtered out a semi-coherent response to your bus counselor about how I got the dates mixed up, you weren't ready and the bus should go ahead without you. Then it was a mad dash to get you dressed, sunblocked and fed while I packed your camp bag and Daddy got ready and started the car to drive you to camp.
Whew, crazy morning! But you made it to camp and I hope you have a great first day!

P.S. After I wrote this post, I checked my old emails and the camp invoice they sent me back in April does state that the first day of your session is July 12. They put the wrong date on the invoice! They made the mistake, not me!
