Dear Connor,
I hate that you were so young when Uncle Tony passed away and that you will have to live most of your life without your funny, silly, playful uncle. But I am grateful that you at least had six years with him and that you still remember him. You recently told me that you sometimes write letters to Uncle Tony and hold them up to the ceiling so that he can see them. You won't tell me what your letters say but I am touched that you are still holding onto his memory.
Love,
Mom
