Dear Connor,

While I was cooking dinner tonight, I was listening to you and your sister play together. It was interesting because within 15 minutes you went from saying, "Lila, I love you so much. You're my best friend, right? You're my baby sister." to "Lila, go away! Leave me alone! I need alone time!" How quickly the heart changes!

Obviously, an example of the former sentiment and not the latter.

Dear Connor,

I was reading a magazine earlier today when you came up next to me. You noticed a picture of a woman in one of the ads and said she looked like me. She looked like this:

Which is why my reaction was like this: "Huh?! She doesn't look anything like me!"

You then replied, "She looks like you because she looks happy." Your response was so innocent and sweet and made me so, well, happy!

Dear Connor,

Today's Connor Funnies:

-When I picked you up from school today, you ran up to me, grabbed my hand and immediately started pulling me away toward the sidewalk. You usually hug me, ask if I brought you a snack and linger for a little while all of the kids are dismissed but you were in quite a rush to leave today and kept saying, "Let's go, Mommy! Mommy, let's leave!" Huh? Why? I wanted to ask your teacher how you'd been in school, though,so I led you back to her and she told me that you'd misbehaved quite a bit today. So that's why you wanted to get out of there so quickly!

-You were so tired tonight that when you went to the bathroom, you didn't notice that you sat down on the regular seat instead of the kid's seat on the toilet . . . and then you fell in. Oops!
